"Startup Express" is an annual startup incubation program organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. AMTD Group has been the exclusive strategic partner of the program for three consecutive years . The final selection was successfully concluded recently, and a number of winning startups were successfully born. They brought inspiring ideas and proposals with new ideas and new thinking to solve social and environmental problems and optimize people's lives.

In addition to the 10 winners, the "My Favorite Startup" award and the "AMTD SpiderNet Startup Award" this year, the conference also added the Social Impact Award to recognize startups with entrepreneurial ideas for sustainable development and social benefits, which was won by Breer. There is also a "My Favorite Startup" award, where audience members vote for their favorites, and Growgreen won this award, while HK Bio-Rhythm R&D won the "AMTD SpiderNet Startup Award". The 10 winning startups will participate in a series of local and overseas activities arranged by the HKTDC to expand markets, build connections, increase exposure and find partners in all aspects.

This year's 'Startup Express' has received enthusiastic registration, and the 20 shortlisted start-ups come from more diversified fields, including the newly established green technology, health technology and retail technology, in line with the "Environment, Social and Corporate Governance" (ESG) that has been increasingly valued by companies recently. In the past three years, 'Startup Express' has successfully helped many start-ups to expand into the global market, receive large orders and win international awards. This year's competition will continue to inherit Hong Kong's entrepreneurial spirit and help the winning start-ups' businesses leap to a new stage and shine on the international stage."

The main businesses of the 20 startups that entered the final round include artificial intelligence and robotics, smart city technology, financial technology, big data, etc., and there are also new fields including green technology, health technology and retail technology. The shortlisted startups introduced their business and entrepreneurial ideas in the final round, and accepted questions from the judges and netizens on the spot. This year's judges included Rong Xianwen, Vice Chairman of AMTD Global Advisory Committee and Member of AMTD International Board of Directors, Qiu Dagen, Co-founder of Wisdom Capital, Che Pinjue, Expert Partner of Sequoia Capital China Fund, Xian Handi, Co-founder, Executive Director and Vice Chairman of Zhongshouyou Technology Group, and Zhu Jiaying, Founder of DayDayCook.
